Currently, until April 27, 2021, mango shipments from Mexico to the United States have increased by 2.5 million four-kilo boxes, which represents a large amount of exported product. This is because both in the US, Canada and European countries the consumption of this fruit has taken a considerable boost.

The pandemic that has attacked the entire world has generated falls in the economy of certain sectors, for the agricultural industry and the primary sector in Mexico, it has remained stable and in constant growth.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader), the fruit industry is one of the main export groups with a 19% share and a 2% growth in the primary sector in Mexico in the first 3 months of 2021. This represents a significant advance of 68% in mango exports.
